Growth Center Points Ledger: Delayed Credits and Coupon Stock
The Growth Center headline number is easy to read and easy to misread. A single total hides timing: some credits arrive at once, some arrive the next day, and weekly tasks can look finished before you have done anything new this week. This note is a practical way to reconcile the ledger, based on what I actually checked on the morning of 4 November 2026.
1. Start from the ledger, not the headline
Open the points detail from the Growth Center profile card before doing any task. Write down the starting total and the most recent entries, with their timestamps. On my account that morning the starting total was 1,100. The recent ledger already explained the jump from the previous day’s 990: an article submitted on 3 November had credited 60 points, and a weekly lab credit of 50 points was timestamped 00:48 on 4 November. Without that check, I would have wrongly attributed both credits to today’s work.
The rule I now use is simple: a credit belongs to the day shown in the ledger, not the day I remember doing the work. If an entry is missing, the task is not yet credited, even if the task page says it is complete.
2. Separate instant, same-day, and delayed credits
- Daily sign-in is the clearest case. The button changes state and the ledger gains 10 points, taking the total from 1,100 to 1,110 on this run, with the streak moving to 10 days.
- A browsing task or a workspace visit can take time to sync. Do the required stay, return to the Growth Center, and recheck later instead of repeating the same visit immediately. Repeating a task does not create a second credit.
- Article and answer credits are the slowest. An article submitted one day may only appear the next day. The same applies to an answer: it only counts after the asker accepts it, so a good answer can sit uncredited for days. Do not treat a missing entry on submission day as a failure.
- Weekly tasks are different again. A weekly lab or weekly activity that is already marked complete may be a carry-over credit from the current cycle. Check the ledger timestamp before starting a second one.
3. A short reconciliation routine
- Record the starting total and the latest ledger timestamp.
- Do one task at a time, then return and check the ledger.
- If nothing changed, note the task as pending verification and move on. Do not redo it in the same session unless the task page itself shows it as incomplete and gives a clear missing step.
- At the end of the session, record the ending total and list every new ledger entry by its own timestamp and reason.
- Anything still missing the next morning is a delayed item to carry forward, not a reason to repeat the work blindly.
4. Coupon stock is a snapshot, not a promise
The redemption area shows remaining stock for each voucher tier. A morning snapshot is only valid for that moment. On 4 November the counts I saw after sign-in were lower than the 08:26 snapshot for several tiers, for example 20-yuan at 262, 10-yuan at 273, 200-yuan at 286, 50-yuan at 279, and 100-yuan at 282, while 5-yuan stayed at 294 and 500-yuan at 299. That pattern means ordinary redemption during the morning, not a restock. Large tiers deserve a specific note in any report: if the count has not jumped, say so plainly instead of assuming a restock at the next scheduled time.
Also, do not redeem a voucher just to test a limit. Checking an annual limit belongs in the redemption dialog only when the points threshold for that tier is genuinely reached, and only if the dialog opens without completing a purchase. If it does not open, record that and try again in the next cycle.
5. What to skip, and why skipping is a result
A task that needs a different account system, a paid exam, or a local install is not a task to force through. Skipping it, with the reason written down, keeps the ledger clean and avoids creating duplicate or low-quality submissions. The same applies to suggestions: submit only a concrete, real improvement. A repeated or speculative suggestion adds noise and does not help the next reconciliation.
In short: trust the timestamped ledger over the headline total, keep instant and delayed credits in separate columns, and treat coupon stock as a dated snapshot. That habit turns a confusing points page into a checkable record.
