AI DevSpace today: free experience version and AI Shell

On 2026-11-01 I started the day in the Huawei Cloud Developer Growth Center. The balance shown before today's tasks was 470 points, and the daily sign-in moved it to 480 points, with four consecutive sign-in days shown. From the Growth Center I opened the AI Agent practice center and entered AI DevSpace. I chose the free experience version, not the persistent version, so no quota was consumed. The experience container showed about three hours remaining, and the workspace at /root/workspace was empty at the start. In AI Shell I created a new session and asked, in natural language, for a small trial file. AI Shell wrote /root/workspace/hello-devspace.txt and then confirmed it with ls and cat. The file was 82 bytes, one line, and contained: AI DevSpace experience trial started on 2026-11-01; workspace was empty at start. That short, verifiable result is the point of this note: the experience version is useful for a quick, disposable check, but its container is temporary, so anything worth keeping should be saved elsewhere before it is released. I did not use the persistent version, did not take an exam, and did not make any purchase in this session.
