Android Intent Flags

Flags defined in the intent class that function as metadata for the intent. The flag may instruct the system how to launch an activity and how to treat it after it’s launched.
e.g:

intent.setFlag(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_REORDER_TO_FRONT);

This flag would tell the system that to bring an existing instance of the called activity in the current stack to the foreground.
