Today I want to share some idioms about music.Here we go.

A group of words with a meaning that cannot be deduced(英/dɪˈdjuːst/ v. 推论) from its constituent(英/kənˈstɪtjuənt/ n.构成要素) parts.

Pop music have a good rhythm, a catchy melody, and are easy to remember and sing along to.
1.(as) clear as a bell :Easy to understand;very clear.
For example:Our next-door neighbors fight a lot,and we can hear them (as) clear as a bell.
2.blow your own horn：To boast or brag(/bræɡ/ v. 吹嘘；自吹自擂) about one’s own abilities, skills, success, achievements, etc.
For example:I don’t mean to blow my own horn, but this pasta sauce I made is quite delicious!
3. for a song:Very cheaply, for little money, especially for less than something is worth.
For example:I bought this car for a song.
4.it takes two to tango:Two parties involved in a certain action or situation, especially a wrong that has been committed, are usually both responsible in some way
For example:Your son blames mine for their fight at school, but it generally takes two to tango.
5.play it by ear:To act according to the circumstances; improvise.
For example:I don’t have a set schedule, so we’ll have to play it by ear.
6.whistle in the dark:To be sure of a particular outcome when all evidence points to the contrary.
For example:Based on the polls, he’s whistling in the dark if he thinks he’s going to unseat the incumbent.
7.can’t unring a bell:Can’t change what has been said or done.
For example:I wish I could go back in time and tell him the truth.
