A story about two mice

It is raining today.It is windy outside.I am sitting in my office writing code.Suddenly,I was interested in reading Aesop’s fables.I read The City Mouse and the Country Mouse.Long long ago,there were two mice.They were cousins.One lived in the country,the other lived in the city.The mouse who lived in a rural village invited his cousin ,who lived in the bustling city,to come visit him for dinner.His cousin disliked the rural lifestyle ，because the food was not rich enough for the city.So His cousin invinted him to experience all the wonders of urban lifestyle.Both left for the city.The country mouse followed his cousin to a huge feast in a city alley that was so splendid.He could barely believe his eyes! There was every kind of the most delicious food for the taking.But when they sat down and began to eat,they saw a prowling cat approaching,as the cat skulked through the alley,they quickly hid in a nearby garbage can until it was out of sight.When they felt safe,they returned to their dinner.Suddenly,a tall man entered the alley, stomping past them with big boots.Again,the mice retreated to nearby garbage can and hid.

The country mouse was very hungry and frustrated and waved goodbye to his cousin.he exclaimed “This city might be a nice place to live, and you might have an abundance of food,but I am going home to enjoy my simple dinner.”

The moral is that A peaceful,quiet and modest life is better than a lavish life filled with danger and fear.That is true.
