How far engineering thoughts from our daily life.Even though we don’t have specialist expertise in engineering.
But we still can use engineering ideas for a reference in daily life.
Engineers are always methodical men.They think about problem step by step,and try to make the problem domain clear.

How does engineer find a solution for a certain problem?And how do they use theory in their job?How do they assure their solution is reliable?

Their thoughts commonly are methodical.They have full of expertise in their field.They use theory that they learned to find a correct solution for a problem.In common,they get through five steps:

Step 1 :Define the problem
They try to figure out what the problem is before finding potential solutions.In this stage,we have many mind tools and method theory to help us make problem a clear picture.

Step 2:Design a solution
Until you figure out what the problem is, you shouldn’t find more potential solution to deal with as more as you can.If it does,you should start to think out the solutions.

Step 3:Test the solution
Congratulations! You are not far from the solution that we actually want.You already have many possible solution to solve it.But which one can work for the problem.You should test them one by one.

Step 4:Evaluate the solution
Maybe several of the solutions we just test can work for the problem.But which one is reliable and efficiency.So you should evaluate them.If the solution isn’t right ,the process is repeated.When a good solution is found,the next step is to communicate the solution.The design solution must be a reasonable price,safe and reliable.

Step 5:Communicate the solution

Congratulations!It seems that we find the solution.The next step is that we should communicate the solution with all stakeholders to make sure it is worthy.If all stakeholders have no objections.Then we can carry out the solution to solve our problem.

Engineers use theory to produce practical answers.We can use the five steps next time we have to develop a new product or process.
